About David Derks

David is a native of the Tangipahoa area and is dedicated Real Estate Professional who loves to serve the Northshore area including the Parishes of Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, St. Helena, and Livingston as well as others. David is the president of Triumphant Homes and Properties which provides real estate services, to buyers, sellers, and investors around our area as well as manages its own growing portfolio of properties. David is very involved in his community through volunteer experiences and public advocacy. His background includes 12 years of military service in an engineering unit of the Louisiana Army National Guard in which he became an experienced team leader and was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant. He received numerous awards from both the Louisiana Army National Guard as well as the Department of the Army for his dedication as well as his selfless service to his country, and his community. David also graduated at the top of his class at Southeastern Louisiana University and worked as a registered nurse in multiple hospitals in the area. His commitment to providing exceptional service to his clients as well as to relate to their individual preferences has made him a well favored real estate professional on the Northshore. David enjoys educating himself on the ever changing real estate market in order to provide his clients with the most effective services as well as invaluable information that will help them with their real estate goals. In his free time, David delights in spending quality time with his family as well as enjoying the great outdoors with activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking, and running.
